We can make our own furniture. Griff and I were very industrious this past weekend and, inspired by Beth and Jane's copious Readymade magazines, we made this lovely mid-century coffee table from scratch. Bought the wood, cut the wood, assembled the pieces and painted it. Whachu all think?

and when you go into bidness and make all kids of fat cash and then you buy a private jet you'll get to visit us that much more often so i say, "make away"!
ps well you don't actually have to say screw ikea though, ok? because me and jane just *read* the readymade, we never actually *make* anything so we still need ikea. and it sounds like you are totally taking for granted that you have it in your backyard right now. i think you should set aside a moment and be grateful for all that you have (ikea).
